Who we are

ShiftEro (GSTIN 24ASRPJ7057P1ZW) is a packers and movers company at B-10 Bijal Business Centre, Aslali Circle, SP Ring Road, Aslali, Ahmedabad 382427, Gujarat. For your personal data, we are the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• Contact details: your name and mobile / WhatsApp number, and your email if you write to us.
• Move details: pickup and drop addresses, moving date, and the list of items you want moved.
• Photos and videos of your items, sent through our website or on WhatsApp, so we can quote accurately.
• Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, and the ad you came from (for example a Google Ads click id), through Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies.

We do not ask for payment card details, Aadhaar or other government ID numbers on this website.

Why we use it

• To prepare your quote, call or WhatsApp you about your move, and carry out the move.
• To schedule a free survey visit when you book one.
• To keep records of the services we provide, including invoices required by law.
• To understand which pages and ads bring enquiries, so we can improve the website and our advertising.

By submitting a form, you consent to us contacting you about your move by call, SMS or WhatsApp. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your rights" below). We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads, which set cookies to count visits and measure which ads lead to enquiries. They collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and ad click ids. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, each for its own purpose:

• our team members handling your move;
• email and WhatsApp providers that deliver your enquiry to our team;
• Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps and Calendar);
• our website hosting provider;
• government authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Photos uploaded through the website are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Enquiry and booking details are kept while we serve you and afterwards for our business and legal records, for up to [OWNER TO CONFIRM: retention period, e.g. 3 years], unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Invoices and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, and stop contacting you;
• withdraw your consent.

Your details are stored on our own secured server, sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only our team can access them.
